Expect to spend at least and hour and a half.  All shots are done on location and in natural light settings.   The number of shots is a range... I shoot digitally so we don't count roles of film or numbers of pictures.   We will shoot until we get what we need so don't worry about the "how many" part of it.   Trust me.... you will have way more than you need.

All sessions are shot with a digital SLR.

You will get your own password protected Web Gallery to proof your images online.  There will be one gallery with all the images and another with the photographer's 15 retouched favorites.

You will receive ALL  the  images from your session on CD-ROM with the photographer's best 15 picks already fully retouched.  This includes light and color correction and touching up of blemishes, stray hairs and shadows.   Additional retouching can be done for an additional charge of $8.00 per image.

Please bring 6-10 clothing options.  It is best to wear medium shades in colors that really enhance your eyes, hair and skin tone.   Because we are shooting in color... try to go with colors that bring out your coloring.  Solids can be too much of a good thing... so layering is recommended. 

Fitted shirts look better and are preferable to oversized  shirts.  Keep buttons, pockets and collars to a minimum depending on the look you're going for.

Make-up artists are available BUT please remember... you want this to look like you do everyday... These are NOT glamour shots.    Make-up is not included in the session charge.

3  looks and no limit to the number of shots.  The number of shots will vary depending on the age and experience level of  the model.   More experienced/older child models don't require as many shots.

Please bring plenty of clothing options and make sure you bring all the accessories (shoes, socks, jewelry, hats, scarves, ect....) if any for each outfit. 

Kids clothes should be colorful and fun.   Bring at least 3 different "seasons" and  style options.   In other words, bring items from "Back to School", Fall, Spring and Summer seasons as well as Sporty, Funky, Casual and any other up beat styles you think will show you off and make you feel good about yourself.

Logos are fine for fashion portfolio shoots but keep graphics small and for the younger ones stay away from super hero and cartoon characters.  It will be distracting.

NO MAKE-UP.   Kids under 12 should arrive bare faced.   Make-up will be applied if necessary.

Bring at least 3 different "seasons" and  style options.   In other words, bring items from the Fall, Spring,  and Summer seasons as well as contrasting styles of clothing to give a more diversified look to your portfolio/zed card.   Make sure the styles are flattering and that you feel good in them.   It will show in your  pictures.

Lingerie and swimsuits are optional for women as are shirtless shots for men.   This will depend mostly on age and  comfort level of the individual.   It is recommended that models over 18 present at least one  look that really shows off the body tastefully.   However,  it is not mandatory.

Make-up artists are available.   This is not included in the session charge.
